Job summary

Building Ventures is seeking a hands-on electrical foreman to lead crews on commercial projects across the Phoenix metro. The role requires on-site leadership, layout work to meet schedules and quality standards, and strong focus on safety and code compliance.

You will supervise crews, inspect installations, troubleshoot electrical systems, and coordinate daily with project management and other trades to keep milestones on track. Regular weekday hours with occasional extended shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master electrician license preferred, or equivalent documented field experience.
• Experience supervising electrician crews on commercial projects is required.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrician crews on active jobsites across the Phoenix metro.
• Plan and lay out electrical work to meet schedule, quality and code requirements.
• Enforce safety procedures and site-specific training; conduct toolbox talks and inspections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications; verify installation against drawings.
• Inspect work, troubleshoot electrical systems and correct deficiencies.
• Communicate daily with project management, subcontractors and other trades to sequence work and resolve issues.

About this roleLead electrical crews on commercial projects across the Phoenix metro.
