Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electrician to install, test and maintain electrical wiring and equipment within a 70‑mile radius of Tysons, VA. You will read blueprints, mount controls, and troubleshoot EMS systems on diverse projects.

Requirements include 4+ years in the electrical field, a High School diploma or GED, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test. Overtime, nights, and weekend work may be needed.

• 4+ years of experience in the electrical industry.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Reliable transportation.
• Overtime may be required, including nights and weekends.
• This position supports projects within a 70-mile radius of our headquarters in Tysons, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and equipment per blueprints.
• Install and mount electronic controls, panels, sensors, and devices.
• Perform interlock wiring as required and test circuits.
• Inspect sites and study plans to determine materials and procedures.
• Diagnose faulty systems using test equipment and tools.
• Read contract drawings and troubleshoot EMS systems, smart breakers, and relays.
