Job summary

Boise Cascade is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Maintenance team in White City, Oregon. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, ensuring safety and reliability in a large wood products operation.

Qualified candidates hold an Oregon Journeyman license or higher and can work all shifts. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits under Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: A valid Oregon Manufacturing Plant Journeyman License or higher, or the ability to obtain a license prior to date of hire, is required for this position.
• Candidates must be able to work all shifts and pass a pre-employment criminal background check, drug test and physical assessment.
• Candidates must have hands on experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems including power distribution, motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, etc.

Qualifications

Canidates must be able to work all shifts and pass a pre-employment criminal background check, drug test and physical assessment. Applicants must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, twist, squat, kneel and work in other awkward positions. Canidates must have hands on experience with:

• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems including power distribution, motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, etc.
• Computer systems (CMMS) to utilize work order system (track and complete work orders).
• Work with or without supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

• PLC programming skills, experience with AutoCAD, Maximo, SLC 500, PLC V and/or ControlLogix and work experience in an industrial environment.
