Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician/ Equipment Operator to join our team. We are an all-inclusive company, meaning we complete the entire job from civil, demo, layout, excavate, install electrical conduit, terminate, etc. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and industrial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and schematics. This role involves working on construction sites, performing installations, renovations, and maintenance of electrical systems. The Electrician will ensure compliance with the Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards while delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in various settings including commercial, and industrial environments.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting on electrical equipment using tools such as multimeters & meggers.
  • Work with construction teams to build and renovate electrical infrastructures according to project specifications.
  • Ensure all work complies with local codes and regulations, particularly the NEC standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary upgrades.
  • Provide maintenance person services as needed for minor repairs or adjustments related to electrical installations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Electrician in both commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Proven experience in underground electrical utilities such as roughing in duct banks, communication duct banks, slabs, light pole bases and circuity.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, low and medium voltage applications, and NEC regulations.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents including schematics and blueprints.
  • Proven experience operating equipment such as a mini excavator and skid-steer.
  • Proficient in using various hand tools and testing equipment such as multimeters, megger, and must be proficient in reading a tape measure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members on construction sites.
  • Certification or relevant licensing as an Electrician is but not mandatory.
