Job summary

City and County of Honolulu seeks an Electrician-Electronic Equipment Repairer in Honolulu to install, maintain and repair electrical/electronic systems across DFM facilities. You will ensure safety practices, supervise as needed, and operate within state and federal access requirements.

The role requires a Hawaii EJ license, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to respond to emergencies and be assigned to JTMC and USN Whitmore Naval Station.

Qualifications

• Experience and/or training to competently perform journey level skills.
• Valid driver's license (type 3/automobile).
• Valid Hawaii State journey-level electrician's (EJ) license.
• Fingerprint background check for JTMC access.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical/electronic systems, wiring, equipment and appurtenances for DFM facilities.
• Ensure safety practices and procedures are followed by self and others.
• Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:50 a.m. – 3:20 p.m.; travel to service locations.
• Be assigned to JTMC and USN Whitmore Naval Station for access per laws.
