Job summary

Chickasaw Nation is seeking a full-time Electrician to join our WS Utility Operations team at WinStar World Casino and Resort in Oklahoma. The role involves operating, maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems and automation controls, with attention to safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a journeyman’s license or apprentice card, and the ability to read and apply electrical codes.

Qualifications

• High School, GED or Equivalent.
• Journeyman’s license or Apprentice card preferred but may be compensated by Votech training and work experience.
• Pass pre-employment background check
• Gaming license or permit as required by assigned position
• Standard Driver's License
• Able to read, understand and apply electrical codes and regulations (IFC/IBC/NEC/IPC)

Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains, repairs, and installs electrical systems, equipment, and automation controls.
• Provides first class customer service to internal and external customers and responses professionally to inquiries, compliments, or complaints.
• Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment.
• Subject to 24-hour emergency call back and inclement weather responses.
• Works with systems ranging from 24V control to 480V main power.
• Performs other duties as assigned by maintenance supervisor or facility support services manager.
