Job summary

Landry's, LLC is seeking an Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across the casino property, including gaming, hospitality, and back-of-house facilities.

This role operates in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment, requiring attention to electrical codes, safety standards, and the ability to read blueprints. The position emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and delivering a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Electrician license or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial electrical experience; hospitality or casino experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to safety and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, lighting fixtures, outlets, panels, and circuits.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions throughout the casino, hotel, restaurants, and other property facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
• Maintain interior and exterior lighting, including parking lot, signage, and decorative lighting.
• Support electrical needs for slot machines, gaming equipment, surveillance systems, and other operational equipment as directed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, or code violations.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency service calls.
• Maintain electrical tools, equipment, and inventory.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with other maintenance personnel and contractors on renovation and repair projects.
• Complete work orders and required documentation accurately and timely.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Electrician license or equivalent preferred

Commercial electrical experience (3+ years)
