Qualifications

• Four years of full-time experience in the electrical trade or equivalent training.
• Successful completion of a two-year Trades Specialist (Electrician) traineeship or an equivalent program.

Responsibilities

• Test electrical circuits to locate shorts, faulty connections and defective parts using test meters.
• Plan, layout and install conduit, wiring, fixtures, fire alarm and other electrical systems.
• Read schematics, blueprints and power distribution diagrams; apply NFPA70, NFPA70B and NFPA70E.
