The Role

This position requires maintaining an organized in-field stock of materials, delivering materials promptly to work stations, and assisting with cable pulls, conduit runs, and cable tray installation. Compensation will depend on experience and passing an electrician test.

What You Will Do

• Test electrical and mechanical circuits for efficiency.
• Operate, maintain, and repair electrical and heat trace systems.
• Read and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
• Install, test, and commission electric heat tracing systems.
• Follow electrical codes and regulations set by the State of Texas and the US government.
• Unload delivery trucks.
• Assemble, install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical components inside and outside facilities.
• Participate in ongoing schooling and training.
• Bring your own hand tools.

Qualifications for Success

• Experience in industrial construction is a plus.
• High school diploma or trade school certification required.
• Prioritize safety above all.
• Electrical license required.
• NCCER certification or equivalent work experience.
• TWIC card required.
• Experience with SCADA, PLC, and control automation, including energy management controls.
• Experience in leading, teaching, and mentoring others is a plus.
• Professional, organized, and dedicated attitude.
• Ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to understand and communicate in English.
• Ability to work in industrial environments with extreme conditions, including climbing stairs and ladders.
