Job summary

TIC_Craft is seeking an experienced electrician to plan, lay-out, install, test and repair wiring, fixtures, motors, equipment, and control systems in accordance with plans, specs, codes and standards. This intermediate-level role requires interpreting drawings, handling conduit, and wiring for high and low voltage systems.

Responsibilities include testing systems, ensuring safety, and coordinating with supervision.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior field experience.
• Must understand and follow written and oral instructions with effective communication.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools and layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Interprets drawings, sketches, software, and plans to determine procedures, tools and equipment.
• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit; welds supports; installs cable and duct banks; makes terminations.
• Installs control and distribution apparatus and secures in place.
• Tests and starts systems and checks circuit continuity for safety and compatibility.
• Observes operation of equipment to identify hazards or need for adjustments.
