Job summary

Rabalais I&E Constructors seeks an Electrician Apprentice for our Marathon jobsite in Texas. You will assist in installing and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment; measure, cut, and bend wires and conduit; and help in lifting and positioning materials under the supervision of a licensed electrician.

Candidates must have own hand tools, read and write English, be at least 18, and possess or be eligible for a Texas Electrical Apprentice License. Osha 10 is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must furnish own transportation to and from job sites or staging areas.
• Must read, write, and understand English.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have own hand tools.
• A Texas Electrical Apprentice License is required.
• Osha 10 is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing electrical raceway systems including conduit and cable tray.
• Install electrical devices such as light fixtures and start/stop stations.
• Operate hand and power tools to install and terminate wiring.
• Assist Electrician in bending conduit with various benders.
• Support material handling and staging at the job site.
• Help with safety practices and keep work area clean.
