Join our team at KenMor Electric Company! KenMor Electric Company is an electrical contractor with proven expertise on large-scale construction projects. Its management team guides clients through all phases of planning, design, construction and project management for commercial, industrial and institutional markets. KenMor's work ranges from office buildings and multiuse developments to stadiums, arenas, shopping centers, restaurants, hospitals, schools, and airports.

Position Responsibilities

1. Assists in installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors and associated materials and equipment.
2. Helps assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
3. Reads and interprets maps, instructional manuals, specifications, work site directions, blueprints, and written instructions.
4. Performs physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects.
5. Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the field organization.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Possess a valid State of Texas Apprentice Electrician License and valid or pending B.A.T. certification, levels 1 - 8.
2. Possesses a valid Driver’s License.
3. Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
4. Ability to frequently walk, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb in inclement weather with exposure to extreme cold, heat, noise, and dust.
5. Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance, if requested.
