Company Overview

We now have a national and international presence spanning coast to coast, including U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and Puerto Rico. We manage projects across the United States with our field operations' team members working on-site. Our specialization is in fast-track projects in new commercial construction, primarily focusing on the Department of Defense market.

Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Electrical Self-Perform team for construction projects based in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with relevant codes.
  • Apply electrical principles technically and safely, using appropriate equipment.
  • Support RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values through quality work and safety practices.
Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $16.20-20.00 per hour

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(K) with Match

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; supplemented by trade school or apprenticeship training.
  • Four or more years of experience as a journey-level wireman in commercial, industrial, or facilities operations; government or military experience preferred.
  • Experience in communication installation, underground work, conductor installation, equipment start-up, fire alarm, and security systems.
  • Valid electrician's license or journeyman card preferred.
  • Certifications: CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour; additional training in trenching, fall protection, confined space, forklift/manlift, power tools, lockout/tagout, hot work, scissor/boom lift, EM-385 preferred.
  • Proficiency with necessary tools and equipment listed.
