Job summary

Carmeuse is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician for its Maple Grove facility in Ohio. The role focuses on maintenance of electrical and mechanical components, troubleshooting electrical systems, and performing preventative maintenance on instrumentation and automated components, including calibrations.

You will promote safety, environmental and productivity cultures, exercise independent judgment to diagnose problems, and adapt to rapidly changing priorities while performing other duties

Qualifications

• Industrial electrician experience required
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Experience with 480V single/three-phase systems
• Familiar with MSHA/EPA regulations; NFPA 70E; reading blueprints & electrical schematics

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, associate's degree or higher, or Journeyman Electrician Card Holder
• 3+ years as an industrial electrician is required.
• Possess a strong electrical and mechanical background.
• Possess strong troubleshooting experience with single phase and three phase on 480v systems, industrial experience with DC & AC large horsepower units.
• Familiar with MSHA and EPA regulations; has knowledge of basic industrial electrical codes, NFPA 70E, and can read blueprints & electrical schematics.
