Job summary

At Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC), the Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring systems, switches, distribution panels, and a wide range of fixtures in support of mission-critical operations.

The role requires a valid South Carolina Journeyman Electrical license, the ability to read blueprints, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards while working under CBA – IUOE terms. Expect a non-exempt schedule and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Journeyman Electrical license issued in South Carolina.
• Able to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and fixtures.
• Strong knowledge of national and local electrical codes.
• Proficient with test equipment (volt/ammeter).
• Must maintain safety and comply with SOPs and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring systems and fixtures.
• Inspect, clean, test, and adjust electrical equipment and circuits.
• Maintain and repair panels, outlets, switches, and related hardware.
• Test circuits using voltmeter, ammeter, wattmeter, and ohmmeter up to 600 volts.
• Interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams to guide installations.
• Adhere to safety rules and follow maintenance schedules.
