Compu Dynamics is seeking an Electrician Level 3 for our Northern Virginia operations. You will oversee field projects, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with management and customers.

Bring 8+ years of electrical experience, a valid driver’s license, and a master license or equivalent training. This role supports our data center infrastructure services and requires leadership on high‑stakes critical systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 8+ years experience in the field or related area.
• Master license or equivalent electrical training and experience.
• Valid drivers license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Oversees job site operations and safety on site.
• Leads, trains and mentors Electrical Levels 1 and 2.
• Plans layouts and prioritizes scope of work for junior electricians.
• Performs electrical repair and maintenance on switchgear, generators, UPS, transfer switches, VFDs, PDUs and emergency systems.
• Troubleshoots problems, collects data, establishes facts and draws conclusions.
• Reads schematics and drawings and documents work performed.

Join our growing Electrical Service Team! Compu Dynamics is one of the leading data center fit-out contractors in the worlds largest data center market. Our continued growth has led to an immediate opening for an Electrician Level 3. This position is located in Northern Virginia.

Essential Functions:

1. Oversees job site
2. Leads, trains and mentors Electrical Levels 1 and 2
3. Lay out all jobs and prioritize the scope of work to Electrical Levels 1 and 2
4. Ability to perform all phases of electrical repair and maintenance to include, but not limited to, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, transfer switches, VFDs, PDUs, testing equipment and emergency systems
5. Ability to troubleshoot problems, collect data, establish facts and present a valid conclusion
6. Ability to read all schematics and drawings
7. Provides daily updates to the customer and management
8. Arranges for purchasing of supplies, materials and equipment
9. Operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment to perform installations or service to the equipment and/or mechanical system
10. Provides timely and completed documentation of work performed
11. Drives company vehicle throughout service area while following all local laws
12. Operates vehicles and other equipment safely; adheres to safety protocols; reports hazards and risks; behavior contributes to a safe and secure working environment

Required Education and Experience:

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. 8+ years experience in the field or related area
3. Masters license or equivalent electrical training and experience
4. Valid drivers license in good standing

Preferred Education and Experience:

1. Industrial and/or commercial experience
