FMOL Health's Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge seeks an Electrician with 5 years' experience in maintenance, repair, and operation of electrical power generators. The role focuses on electrical systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring reliable plant performance.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing switches, transformers, controllers, and distribution systems, plus documentation and on-site operator duties. Valid LA driver's license required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Louisiana driver's license.

Descrizione del lavoro

Operates, maintains, and repairs power generation systems and their controllers. Provide analysis and implement corrective actions to maintain equipment and systems operation to ensure maximum efficiency and stable performance. Primary focus of position is the maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic control devices for generators, switch gear, and electrical distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• 1. Electrical Systems Maintenance
  • Maintains repairs, replaces and installs electrical systems to include, but not limited to, switches, fixtures, motors, transformers, controllers, associated electronic components, distribution and wiring.
  • Completes periodic inspections, recurring maintenance requirements and associated documentation. Maintains systems to conform to written guidelines and applicable changes.
  • Acts as plant operator for electrical and power generation using work orders, parts requests, drawings/schematics/blueprints and manuals in order to accomplish assigned duties.
• 2. Maintain systems knowledge
  • Knowledgeable of cathodic protection, communications, and grounding systems.
• 3. Training and troubleshooting
  • Develops and provides training to other technical staff and performs comprehensive troubleshooting and repair.
• 4. Other duties
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
