Boston College is seeking an experienced Electrician for campus facilities. The role focuses on repairs, maintenance, and upgrades of electrical systems, with work orders tracked electronically. You will operate safely, document daily activities, and coordinate with supervisors and external vendors when needed.
The position requires 3–5 years of related experience, a valid MA Journeyman license, and the ability to read blueprints and work independently on campus projects.

Under the direct supervision of the Shop Supervisor or other designated personnel, perform all duties peculiar to and normally required of an
Electrician, following recognized techniques and procedures. Duties include repairs and maintenance of electrical components, lighting circuit
breakers, etc.
Perform maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance using a computerized maintenance work order system. Provide written(electronic)
records of work completed on a daily basis. Communicate with Supervisors personally or through electronic forms of communication. (email,
phone use etc.). This description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employees may perform other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of
the organization.
Base Rate: $48.49 per hour
