Job summary

Stellar Energy Americas Inc. seeks a skilled Electrician for 2nd shift in our Jacksonville facility. The role covers installation, wiring, and troubleshooting of electrical systems on modular cooling equipment within a manufacturing setting.

You will read schematics, terminate high/low voltage wiring, and support production, quality, and safety targets while maintaining equipment and tools in top condition. Jacksonville or Fort Worth facility involvement may occur.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of commercial and/or industrial electrical installation.
  • Graduate or enrolled in an accredited Apprenticeship program.
  • Proven track record of working efficiently in high-volume, fast-paced settings.
  • Knowledge concerning transformers, LVMCC, HVMCC, etc.
  • Strong working understanding of the National Electrical Code
  • Experience meeting production quotas and quality standards simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 70e and a focus on electrical safety.

Summary Objective

The Electrician role is responsible for the installation, assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and components for modular energy and cooling equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role interprets electrical drawings and schematics, performs high and low voltage terminations, and supports production, quality, and safety objectives through technical expertise, equipment maintenance, and efficient electrical installations.

Essential Functions
  • Install and set electrical switchgear, panels, controllers, wireways, and trays with speed and precision in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Rapidly interpret electrical drawings and schematics to maintain production flow and meet daily build targets
  • Execute electrical conduit and wiring installations on modular chiller systems efficiently, minimizing assembly line downtime
  • Perform high and low voltage terminations quickly and accurately to keep pace with production schedules
  • Construct electrical supports and infrastructure while adhering to tight assembly timelines
  • Maintain organized electrical tool room to ensure zero delays in parts/tool availability for production
  • Provide immediate troubleshooting of electrical tools, welders, and grinders to prevent production bottlenecks
  • Source and procure replacement electrical parts rapidly to maintain continuous production flow

Work Location

This position will work out of our facilities in Jacksonville, FL or Fort Worth, TX. This position is not approved for telecommuting or working remotely.

Work Environment

This position operates out of a fabrication facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, with overtime regularly scheduled. Second shift days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 3:00PM - 1:30AM

Travel

Travel is primarily not required with exception to local travel during the business day.

Required Education and Experience.
  • High school diploma or GED
