Job description

Position Overview:

Nestlé USA is seeking a motivated Electrician to join our team in Schaumburg, IL, for 2nd and 3rd shifts. This role involves performing preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and controls throughout the factory. Our Electricians contribute directly to the production of household pizza brands loved by American families.

What You’ll Accomplish:

1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems or components according to CMMS.
2. Upgrade, inspect, and test electrical panels and systems as needed.
3. Create, update, and oversee electrical layout drawings for projects.
4. Oversee and update electrical installations and schematics.
5. Ensure adherence to SOPs and promote high standards for quality, safety, and compliance.
6. Follow all company policies, procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Trade School diploma/certificate in industrial maintenance, electrical, or related field preferred
• Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, holidays, or rotating shifts
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical components and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with 480V systems
• Food manufacturing experience preferred
• Fluent in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Proficient in using test tools (volt meters, amp probes, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals

The approximate hourly pay is $30.00 to $35.00. Final compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and location.
