Job summary

Multi-Craft Contractors, Inc. is seeking individuals for electrical installation positions in Springfield, MO. Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and installing conduits, as well as operating various power tools and maintaining job sites. Qualifications

• Apprentice Level: 1-4 years experience.
• Journeyman Level: 4+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Install various types of conduits.

• Prepare job sites and clean up.
• Service and maintain equipment.
• Record wiring changes on blueprints.

Skills

Understanding and working knowledge of NFPA 70 series

Ability to interpret blueprints

Ability to diagnose electrical malfunctions

Ability to operate power tools

Current valid driver’s license

Education

Job description

Essential Duties

• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install various types of conduit.
• Operate hand and power tools of all types (including but not limited to air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments).
• May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble and debris.
• Clean, maintain, and service equipment and tools.
• Record field wiring changes and modifications on blueprints for recording on master circuit diagrams.

Education & Training

• High school diploma or equivalent, required

Skills & Experience

• Apprentice Level: 1- 4 years
• Journeyman Level: 4+ years
• Understanding and working knowledge of the NFPA 70 series, State, and local codes
• Ability to:
  • Understand, interpret and utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Locate and diagnoses electrical malfunctions using various test instruments
  • Operate a variety of power tools, shop equipment, and electrical testing instruments
• A current valid driver’s license is required
