Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Sellersburg, IN. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment across residential, commercial, and industrial settings, following all safety codes and company standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring and installing panels and devices, performing routine inspections, diagnosing issues, and completing corrective repairs. The role also involves supporting new construction, remodels, and lighting retrofits, collaborating with project managers and other trades, and documenting work performed. The Electrician is expected to provide professional, customer-focused service and contribute to ABTECH’s reputation for quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electricity principles and safe electrical work practices.
• Hands-on experience with general electrical work, including installation, wiring, and equipment setup.
• Skills in maintenance & repair of electrical systems, including routine service and emergency response.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and accurately using appropriate tools and methods.
• Familiarity with basic electrical engineering concepts related to system design and layout.
• Valid electrician license or certification as required by local and state regulations.
• Working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant safety standards.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in the Louisville, KY and Southern Indiana service areas.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety.

• Previous experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical environments preferred.
