Job summary

The SAM Construction Group is seeking a skilled Electrician for luxury home new construction projects in Paradise Valley, AZ. You will install and connect electrical systems, read plans, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, strong communication, and the ability to mentor helpers while maintaining high safety and workmanship standards. Regular site work with local travel required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical work.
• Knowledge of the electrical industry and NEC codes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation and wiring for new luxury homes and underground systems.
• Read and interpret plans and electrical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with NEC codes and safety standards; keep work areas tidy.
• Mentor and supervise electrician helpers; provide guidance and training.
• Travel to job sites as needed; coordinate logistics for Maricopa, AZ area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job description

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Looking for an experienced Electrician.


• Experienced in new construction - Luxury Homes


• Experienced in underground electrical.


• Experienced with installation and connecting electrical systems including wiring, switches, outlets, lights, fixtures, circuit breakers and other electrical components.


• Knowledge and compliance with NEC codes.


• Able to read and interpret plans.


• Ensure that all electrical work is performed in a safe, efficient, and professional manner and that all work areas are left clean and tidy after completion.


• Mentoring and supervising electrician helpers, providing guidance and training as needed.


• Reliable transportation to Maricopa, Arizona.


• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 5+ years of experience

• Must have knowledge of the electrical industry.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to handle physical labor and strenuous tasks.


• Regularly talk and/or hear.

• Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.


• Occasionally required to but not limited to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.


• Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, and stairs and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.


• Must be able to position oneself to work in confined spaces such as trenches, pits, manholes, attics, and tunnels.


• Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move at least 50 pounds regularly/occasionally


• Must be able to respond quickly to sounds.


• Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.


• Must be able to see and respond to dangerous situations.


• Must be able to safely climb ladders while carrying up to 40 pounds.


• Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.


• Must be able to work in hot and cold environments and on concrete floors.
