Job summary

Oshkosh Vocational in Murfreesboro, TN is hiring Electrician I to check, assemble, install, route, and wire electrical parts for the next process. You will use drills, crimpers, wire cutters, and other hand tools in a fast-paced plant environment.

Position requires reading wire harness prints/schematics, maintaining safety, and collaborating with teammates. Expect 6:00am–4:30pm, Monday-Thursday, with overtime as needed and a comprehensive benefits package from day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required;1+ years of relevant Electro-Mechanical experience preferred.
• Associates degree in automotive/mechanical field is a plus.
• Prior experience as a Pierce team member or contractor is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, route, and wire electrical parts for the next process.
• Use hand tools such as drills, crimpers, wire cutters, and strippers.
• Read wire harness prints and schematics to ensure proper routing.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Support electrical reworks and repairs as needed.
• Assist in inventory and with co-workers for lifting parts.
