The Assembler will be responsible for assembling various components in the manufacture of assemblies/sub-assemblies of various heavy-duty vehicles and specialized equipment. All Assemblers can expect to work in a collaborative production environment where teamwork and quality craftsmanship are valued.YOUR IMPACT:These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.Ability to interpret and process information through the Pro-Planner or Truck Builder System. These systems provide standard work instructions and requires the assembler to perform such requirements and confirm results back into the system.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, part lists, and written instructions to ensure accurate execution and prevent quality defectsUnderstanding of quality standards, including the ability to identify defects, trace issues to root cause, and support implementation of corrective and preventative actionsCommitment to maintaining a safe, clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures and 6S standardsWillingness to participate in equipment testing and continuous improvement efforts within assigned operationsVolterra Refuse Collector:Work cycles can be up to 4 hours in duration.
