Qualifications

• Four years of experience in industrial electrical/instrument maintenance or equivalent.
• Must read electrical blueprints and follow control circuitry concepts, including intrinsically safe circuits.
• Familiar with NEC/ISA construction standards and power systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Controls, Instrumentation, Electrical, and Electronics.
• Proficient in use of tools of the trade.
• Secondary skills: pipe fitting/conduit installation; pneumatics; electro-mechanical devices; computer use.

Subject to Silbond’s approval.* Primary skills in Controls, Instrumentation, Electrical, and Electronics; Must be skilled in all areas to include excellent troubleshooting skills.* Must be proficient in the use of tools of the trade.* Must possess good general knowledge of control circuitry programming, distributed controls systems, safety instrumented systems, instrument calibration and troubleshooting.* Secondary skills in the following: Pipe fitting/conduit installation; Pneumatics; Electro-Mechanical devices; Be proficient in computer use.
