Job summary

Sunbelt Modular, Inc. seeks an experienced electrician to install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems in our industrial facilities. You will work safely, read blueprints, and ensure compliance with codes while minimizing downtime.

You should have a high school diploma, 5–10 years of relevant experience, and a journeyman license. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to read wiring diagrams and collaborate across trades.

Responsibilities

Description

Position Objective: To install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. The electrician ensures all work complies with applicable codes and standards while supporting operational reliability and minimizing downtime.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices and troubleshoot system failures
• Repair or replace faulty components such as circuit breakers, wiring, and panels
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

Job Requirements

• Speak fluent English to communicate with other employees
• The electrician role requires physical stamina to stand, bend, and move for extended periods throughout the day. The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, work at heights, climb ladders, and operate in confined spaces is essential. Strong hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and the ability to work safely in various environmental conditions are also necessary.
