Job summary

Wells is seeking an electrician to install, test and maintain electrical systems in our facility in Kissimmee, FL. The role emphasizes adherence to electrical codes, safety, and teamwork to deliver reliable power solutions for our manufacturing operations.

You will troubleshoot issues, read electrical plans, supervise junior staff, and help plan layouts and cost estimates for projects started by project managers. A strong commitment to safety and hands-on problem solving is required.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOULL DO

• Install test and maintain electrical systems equipment and fixtures
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems using diagnostic tools

• Interpret electrical plans perform material counts and coordinate with project managers
• Plan and execute wiring layouts and installations in accordance with specifications and codes
• Supervise and train staff on electrical installation and maintenance procedures
• Install grounding leads and connect power to equipment
• Handle administrative tasks including recordkeeping reporting and supply ordering
• Repair or replace faulty wiring equipment and fixtures
• Run conduit and pull wires through concealed spaces to complete circuits
• Fabricate parts and mount boxes for switches or outlets
• Perform physically demanding work including trench digging and heavy lifting
• Prepare preliminary sketches and cost estimates for projects

WHO WERE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of electrical codes excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities and experience using a wide range of diagnostic tools and equipment The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills keen attention to detail and proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical plans The role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively to supervise or train team members as needed and to perform physically demanding work

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE

• Know and understand safety procedures
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical plans
• Knowledge in mechanical electrical plumbing air and hydraulic systems
• Knowledge of power construction equipment measuring devices and testing equipment including oscilloscopes ammeters and test lamps

WORKING CONDITIONSPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending climbing kneeling twisting squatting crawling and repetitive handarm use

Capable of standing walking and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hours

Comfortable working at heights using ladders scaffolding swing stages and man lifts frequently

Ability to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazards

Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions including wet hot humid and cold weather and outdoors Depending on location

Ability to wear all required PPE including but not limited to safety boots safety glasses hearing protection high visibility vest hard hat and other PPE as required by the task department or work area
