Job summary

Genesis Investment Properties is seeking an Electrician to install and maintain electrical devices and systems across our projects. The role requires reading blueprints, coordinating with other trades, and ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials.

The candidate should have a High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 5 years of electrical experience, with hands-on proficiency in installation from rough-in to finish. This position offers opportunities for training and career growth.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Electrician installs and maintains the electrical devices.

Essential Functions:

• Read and understand blueprints and electrical drawings with specific knowledge of electrical design and general knowledge of other building components.
• Assist with electrical material quantity take offs and procurement.
• Coordinate electrical work with that of other trades.
• Assist with material scheduling, tracking, expediting, and delivery.
• Physical installation of electrical components and systems, from rough in through finish and trim phase.
• Participate in job related training as recommended.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Electrician, Senior Project Manager, Senior Construction Manager or other Senior Management.

Education and Experience:

• High School/GED
• Minimum 5 years of Experience
