We have opportunities for Maintenance Repair Electricians at our advanced manufacturing facility in Fostoria, Ohio. Candidates should hold a Journeyman card or an equivalent apprenticeship, or have a 2‑year degree in the electrical field with at least 3 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.

We pay well – the top hourly rate is $36.13. The plant operates 24/7, offering varied shift options with differential pay for off‑shift hours. Morgan values work/life balance and provides no forced overtime for hourly associates.

Job Purpose

Maintain all electrical devices and machines within the plant, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Morgan safety standards and guidelines.
• Adhere to NFPA and National Electrical codes.
• Use all required Arc Flash gear.
• Possess a Journeyman’s card or approved electrical apprenticeship.
• Hold an associate degree (highly desirable).
• Be available to work any shift schedule as assigned.

Essential Functions

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand or kneel for extended periods.
• Ability to reach above head level when working on elevated equipment.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders or stairs.
• Ability to push and pull equipment into proper placement.
• Ability to work in extreme or hot, cold environments.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment and reduce downtime.
• Provide technical support for all electrical process equipment.Perform moderate to complex installation, troubleshoot, and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair equipment and components such as motors, drives, relays, starters, and other related electrical devices used for industrial equipment.
• Ensure safety devices are not bypassed or eliminated without proper authorization.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, and also in a team environment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) on all equipment.
• Perform tasks as directed by plant supervisor.

Qualifications

• Documented proof of experience in industrial electrical field and/or a Journeyman’s card.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other trades.
• Must be a US Person as defined by 22CFR120.15.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong industrial electrical background.
• PLC, VFD, and instrumentation experience (a plus).
• Strong organisational skills, including attention to detail and multi‑tasking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
