Job summary

Hampton Lumber is seeking skilled Electrical Technicians to join our Allendale County, South Carolina facility. You will learn and execute commissioning, start-up, and reliability improvements for a focused maintenance program, collaborating with operations to improve equipment performance.

The role emphasizes safety, rigour, and continuous improvement while supporting shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed for operations and startup activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills in industrial settings.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing PLC-based control systems.
  • Background with Allen Bradley PLCs and related automation hardware.
  • Wood product or startup maintenance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose Electrical/PLC issues and perform timely repairs.
  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with operations to improve equipment reliability.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety policies and regulations.

We’re looking for skilled Electrical Technicians to learn and execute the commissioning, start-up, and continued reliability of a highly focused maintenance prevention program for Hampton Lumber.

  • Take full ownership of assigned tasks to Hampton’s maintenance standards
