Job summary

deGraauw Electric, a local electrical contractor, seeks motivated electricians for commercial and industrial projects in the Dickson, TN area. This 40-hour-per-week role offers strong compensation for skilled problem solvers who can work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities include following safety policies, preparing material/tool lists, and using basic personal tools. Apprentices and electricians need to read drawings/blueprints and apply knowledge of electrical codes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years field experience as an electrician
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuitry and codes
• Control wiring experience is preferred but not required
• Adhere to project and company safety policies

Duties & Responsibilities

• Adhere to project & company safety policies
• Creating thorough material and tool lists
• Provide own basic hand tools. A list will be provided to qualified candidates.

Skills And Experience

• Ability to run EMT conduit (Apprentices & Electricians only)
• 4+ Years Field Experience (Electricians only)
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuitry
• Basic knowledge & familiarity with electrical codes
• Control Wiring Experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints. (Electricians only)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to handle heavy objects
• Comfortable working at heights
• Ability to work in extreme environments
