Job summary

Expedite Talent Solutions is seeking an Electrician - PM to inspect, repair, and maintain electrical equipment in Concord, NC. You will focus on preventive maintenance, load-bearing repairs, and new installations within a hands-on, in‑person role.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a commercial/industrial electrician, a Master Electrician license or eligibility, and proficiency with MS Office and CMMS. OSHA 10 is preferred, and this is an on‑site position with day-to-day tasks in a fast‑paced

  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship preferred; Master Electrician license may be required.

  • Provide reliable service to customers and explain complex information clearly.

Electrician - PM

Location: 1420 Concord Pkwy S, Concord, NC 28027
Hours: M-F 6pm - 6AM alternating weekends
Employment Type: In‑Person (no remote)

Overview

As an electrician, you will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in assigned facilities. This role is part of Engineering and Technical Services, focusing on load‑bearing preventive maintenance, repairs, and new installations.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee electrical and lighting systems’ general operation, repair, and maintenance; perform new installations of equipment.
  • Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems (valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes).
  • Assure that equipment is maintained and operating safely.
  • Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Provide efficient and reliable service to customers.
  • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
  • Have a broad knowledge of own discipline and some knowledge of other disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example; model behaviors consistent with company values and help achieve agreements.
  • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
  • Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3–4 years of job‑related experience.
  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship preferred.
  • Master Electrician license required; valid driver's license required.
  • Meet physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, lifting/carrying loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Advanced math skills; ability to calculate intermediate figures, percentages, discounts, commissions.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience for appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
  • Experience: 5+ years as a commercial or industrial electrician.
Licenses & Certifications
  • OSHA 10 certification highly preferred.
  • Electrician’s license highly preferred.
Preferred Skills
  • Electrical skills in commercial and industrial environments.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Client‑facing role – good customer skills and highly professional attitude.
  • Knowledge of CMMS – preferred.
