Job Description Summary

This position offers a diverse set of job responsibilities. Position requirements:

1. Working with electrical subcontractors
2. Help manage electrical projects
3. Diagnose electrical issues
4. Industrial electrical upgrades
5. Troubleshoot Fuel Master
6. Assist with management of ARC Flash program
7. Seasonal position with overtime required during the peak season
8. Work in a safe and professional manner
9. Report any accident or incident to supervisor
10. Perform daily post inspections and Risk assessment forms
11. Always wear proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
12. Willing to travel to other locations
13. Available to work either day or night shift

Requirements/Education/Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

1. Knowledge of industrial electrical systems
2. Must be knowledgeable in 480-volt equipment and control wiring
3. Be organized and professional
4. Proven ability to develop relationships and to work both independently as well as in a team environment
5. Must have a clean valid driver’s license
6. Demonstrate a willingness to work and communicate well with supervisors and other employees
7. Demonstrate the ability to maintain MSHA, OSHA and all other company policies or Government state rules and regulations
8. Have the ability to follow through with efficiency on verbal and written instructions
9. Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required
10. Prior experience is preferred; training will be provided as needed
11. High school graduate or equivalent
12. Degree or certification in electrical/maintenance is a plus
13. Pre-employment screening is required before the employment of any individual at Callanan Industries
