Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking an electrician in Chester, VA to perform electrical tasks with supervision and interpret complex drawings. Travel may be required and safety policies must be followed on all projects.

The candidate should have 4 years of commercial electrical field experience, a High School Diploma or GED, OSHA 10 or the ability to obtain it, and pass pre-employment background and MVR checks when operating vehicles.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs all electrical tasks with general supervision.
• Reads and interprets construction electrical drawings, terminates cables, installs and troubleshoots control wiring from drawings.
• Monitors work in progress and reports variances in a timely manner.
• Completes other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Travels may be required.
• Works from all types of ladders.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.

Job description
