Job summary

Conagra Brands in Archbold, Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and production equipment. You will support safe, reliable plant performance while partnering with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to minimize downtime.

The role requires a Journeyman Electrician credential or equivalent experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to work overtime and various shifts.

• Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of motors, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, relays, and electrical distribution.
• Understanding of electrical safety, lockout/tagout procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple assignments.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and other shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, controls, motors, drives, panels, and production systems.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical components to identify root causes of failures.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve reliability.
• Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Install and modify electrical equipment to support projects and improvements.
• Follow plant safety requirements, lockout/tagout, and food safety standards.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment history.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to reduce downtime.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, cost, and productivity.

Job description

Shift: 11:00 PM-7:00 AM Hourly Rate: $32.09 an hour + $.75 shift differential Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will support plant operations at the Archbold, Ohio manufacturing facility by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and production equipment. You will help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance while partnering with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives. Hourly rate of pay: $27.55 - $33.73 - based on experience.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, controls, motors, drives, panels, and production systems.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical components to identify root causes of equipment failures.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability.

• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and other shifts as business needs require.

Physical Requirements
