Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Wiring Assembler in North Charleston, SC to join a premier manufacturing client. The role involves assembling products per electrical drawings, interpreting schematics, and maintaining quality and safety standards on the production line.

You will work on the 2nd shift, gain hands-on experience in electrical/mechanical assembly, and contribute to a compliant ISO 9001 environment while collaborating with shop leads and teammates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in building assemblies, sub-assemblies, and wiring components.
• Ability to understand and follow assembly prints.
• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in physical assembly of parts.
• Experience in production line assembly and precise manipulation of components and wiring.
• Proficient with handheld power tools and drills, including torque up to 65 in-lbs.
• Commitment to high standards of quality and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products to completion by following electrical drawings and schematics.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical assembly drawings.
• Work independently and follow a production schedule to meet deadlines.
• Participate in shop cleanup and maintain a clean workspace.
• Communicate with Shop Leads regarding quality and production schedules.
• Assist coworkers with additional tasks as assigned.
• Operate within ISO 9001 Quality System requirements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety teams to ensure compliance.
