Powell is seeking a Wireperson II for a 2nd shift to assemble, install, and maintain electrical systems. You will read wiring diagrams, work with CAT5/6 cables, and ensure safety and quality while supporting a team on the factory floor.

You will be responsible for wiring, device installation, and participating in root cause analysis to improve processes. A strong emphasis on safety and adherence to ISO-produced standards is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–4 years manufacturing experience.
• Able to read point-to-point wiring diagrams.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• Proficient in English (written and verbal).
• Experience safely using hand/power tools.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Use hand tools to perform tasks.
• Run and bundle wires according to Powell standards.
• Layout, install and tap devices onto doors and back pans.
• Install name plates and space heaters.
• Install and terminate CTs.
• Install communication cables, CAT5/CAT6, fiber optic cables.
• Operate continuity buzzers.
• Terminate and run wire for MCC, SWGR, and harnesses as per diagrams.
• Perform in-process inspections.
• Read and understand single and three-line drawings.
• Assist in root cause analysis of engineering changes.
• Support small teams to complete tasks under lead wireperson/supervisor.
• Identify part discrepancies and write HFDs for corrections.
• Promote safety and attend safety meetings.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
