Description

The Warehouse Associate will coordinate the activities and operations of the warehouse.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Manage warehouse inventory and maintain database.
  • Coordinate and schedule the movement of products throughout the warehouse, including storage and shipment of finished products.
  • Implement daily production and shipping plans, arranging for excess stock to be stored in the warehouse.
  • Manage the daily flow of finished products by modifying storage space assignments.
  • Verify inventory records or conduct inventories to confirm the availability of items for shipment.
  • Identify and report slow-moving products and, with approval, arrange for their removal.
  • Direct forklift drivers to store goods in designated areas.
  • Manually handle, repackage, or restack pallets of finished products as needed.
  • Operate forklift trucks as needed.
  • Document all related activities and complete required forms and reports.
  • Perform other related duties as directed.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments related to inventory management.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license for forklift operation required.
  • At least two years of warehouse experience required.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to move around the warehouse.
