Oracle Cloud Infrastructure seeks an Electrical Engineer in Burlington, MA to validate, test, debug, and integrate server electrical hardware systems for cloud infrastructure platforms.

The role focuses on hands-on lab work, signal and power integrity analysis, and hardware test automation, collaborating with hardware, firmware, software, and diagnostics teams to ensure performance and reliability.

Formación

• Experience in electrical hardware testing, validation, troubleshooting or board-level debugging.
• Proficiency in signal-quality measurements, jitter, noise, timing analysis.
• Hands-on use of high-speed test equipment (oscilloscopes, probes, analyzers).
• Ability to read schematics, analyze waveforms, and troubleshoot hardware failures.

Responsabilidades

• Support electrical hardware validation, testing, debugging, and integration of analog and digital systems.
• Execute electrical validation and characterization tests to evaluate hardware performance, signal quality, and reliability.
• Perform electrical signal-quality measurements using high-speed equipment and analyze results.
• Identify, isolate, and troubleshoot board-level electrical issues including signal and power integrity.
• Support root-cause investigations through measurements, data analysis, and debugging techniques.
• Develop and maintain hardware test setups and validation environments for prototype testing.
• Assist with test automation and Python-based test scripts and data collection workflows.
• Review schematics, layouts, and hardware specs to aid validation and integration.
• Collaborate across hardware, firmware, software, and diagnostics teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in sustaining engineering activities and hardware failure analysis.
• Contribute to design and validation reviews with feedback on electrical performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including test plans and validation reports.
• Support EMC and pre-compliance testing as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of validation processes and workflows.
