Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 year of field experience with a valid driver’s license and a clean record.
• DOT medical card required.
• Travel within region with occasional overnight stays.
• Ability to lift at least 75 pounds.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavation equipment to dig trenches for electrical projects.
• Report maintenance needs to the construction manager.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance as directed by the project superintendent.
• Ask questions to ensure clear understanding and accept feedback.
• Attend weekly toolbox safety meetings and follow directions.
• Build relationships with customers, foremen, teams, contractors, vendors and others.
• Make safety-conscious decisions to protect self and others.
• Apply LEAN concepts to improve operations and efficiency.
• Promote and model the company values and DEI commitments.
