Job summary

Puget Sound Energy is seeking an Engineer II - Electric Transmission Engineering to develop engineering plans, specifications, and systems evaluations. You will work with project teams to support energy delivery changes and ensure compliance with all regulatory obligations.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor of Science degree or a PE license, with experience in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering. This position offers a competitive salary between $82,000 and $136,300, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in engineering design and project cost estimating.
• Experience with utility system design and operation codes.
• Ability to coordinate with external customers and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering plans, designs, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Work on Transmission projects with interrelated elements.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements.
