Job summary

Central Moloney is seeking an Electrical Designer for the Engineering team in Pine Bluff, onsite. You will design distribution transformers, evaluate core losses, impedance, and insulation coordination, and prepare technical drawings and bills of materials for manufacture.

The role requires familiarity with IEEE, CSA, ANSI/IEC standards and collaboration with manufacturing and QA teams to resolve issues and drive design improvements.

Qualifications

• College degree in electrical engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience with transformer design and industry standards preferred.
• Ability to interpret standards and apply them to designs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop distribution transformer electrical configurations up to 35 kV.
• Review designs for efficiency, insulation coordination, and performance.
• Prepare drawings, BOMs, connection diagrams, and test documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, QA and tooling teams.
• Support certification and testing activities as needed.
