Job summary

The successful candidate will collaborate with industry partners, advise committees, and ensure safety standards and codes are reflected in coursework to prepare students for licensure and skilled employment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to teach hands-on electrical labs and lectures.
• Experience aligning instruction with NEC codes and safety standards.
• Ability to assess student learning and provide actionable feedback.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in electrical systems, wiring, circuits, motors/controls across multiple formats.
• Deliver hands-on, lab-based instruction aligned with real-world electrical applications.
• Maintain safe learning environments in labs and classrooms.
• Develop and update curriculum reflecting industry standards and employer needs.
• Coordinate with the Perkins Grant Coordinator for annual reporting needs.
• Engage with industry partners and advisory boards to keep programs current.
• Support dual enrollment and articulation partnerships with secondary schools.
