Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking an Electrical Tester I in Romeoville, IL to perform repetitive electrical testing and preparation tasks of basic complexity. This role involves inspecting products, setting up test equipment, and documenting results.

Electrical Tester I In this job you will be perform repetitive electrical testing preparation and testing tasks of basic complexity As an Electrical Tester I you will Visually inspect product prior to testing to detect conformance to standardsInspect testing equipment and test boothcage for proper operation Prepare product for test by safely making the connections required for test being performedSeparate non conforming partsDocument actions by completing production and quality formsMaintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulationsConserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job resultsContribute to team effort by training others in performance of testing tasks as neededInspect all work and insure it meets requirements prior to passing it on to the next operation

Requirements

We are looking for someone who Has a High School diploma GED or combination of work experience and skill development Ideally has 0 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment Is able to safely use small hand and power toolsIs able to read and interpret Drawings and Bills of MaterialHas basic computer skillsIs able to read instructions and understand verbal instructions in English

Compensation and Benefits
