Job summary

Randstad USA seeks a detail-oriented Test Technician to implement test methods, operate test equipment, and conduct functional testing of power distribution solutions. You will lead for new product testing and production evaluation with limited supervision.

The role offers a first shift of 8 AM to 4 PM with competitive pay, 100% company-paid medical/dental/vision, and a robust benefits package including PTO, holidays, and a 5% bonus. Associates degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent military electrical training or 2+ years of electrical testing experience.
Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment (multimeters, current meters, etc.) and precision measurement tools.
Ability to read/interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams; proficient with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

Testing & Inspection: Perform pre-power up, functional, and burn-in/stress testing of electrical equipment (up to 600VAC).
Troubleshooting & Repair: Assist with AC/DC circuit troubleshooting and minor repairs on control, power, and fiber optic assemblies.
Documentation: Maintain accurate test reports and technical documentation.
Technical Setup: Program electronic devices using computer tools and set up test equipment.
Operations: Work independently on routine tasks while using hand tools and following safety procedures.
