Intertek is seeking an Engineering Technician I to join the Electrical team in Columbus, Ohio. The role involves performing standard testing, collecting data, and preparing technical reports to support client safety and performance requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Be aware of safety practices and policies to ensure safety of yourself and others.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Set up test apparatus.
• Perform basic analysis of test data and routine calculations.
• Provide exceptional customer experience during onsite testing.
• Interact with customers professionally in appearance and attitude.
• Follow diligent safety practices and OSHA standards as required.
• Work with lead/crew members to complete projects within policies and procedures.
• Daily cleanup and maintenance of projects, work equipment, and tools.
• Conduct site survey activities with a team.
• Attend mandatory training on new products and safety.
• Operate, troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
