Hitachi Energy in Bland, Virginia is seeking an Electrical Test Technician to perform electrical testing on dry-type transformers and support R&D and production testing activities.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and documentation, with collaboration across engineering, quality and manufacturing teams to optimize performance and support customer audits and inspections.

Formación

• Troubleshoot test setups and assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to optimize product performance.
• Support customer visits, audits, and inspections during testing activities.
• Provide flexible support to other production areas as business needs require.
• Work independently while contributing to team goals and operational excellence.

How You'll Make an Impact

Your Background

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Associate degree or technical certificate in Electrical Technology or a related field.
• Experience using electrical instrumentation, measurement systems, and technical documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with transformer technology, low- and medium-voltage power systems, or international testing standards is preferred.
