Job summary

Future Ventures is seeking an hands-on electrical installations technician to assemble, test, and verify battery and power conversion hardware, with occasional travel to desert sites for solar panel and battery installations.

You will collaborate with engineering to refine production steps, help shorten install times, and develop install instructions for field teams, working with design, test, and production engineers on new power electronics and energy storage hardware.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in electrical installs or electronics builds.
• Hands-on debugging, testing, and validating electrical systems using multimeters or similar tools.

• Work with multidisciplinary teams of design, test, and production engineers to refine new power electronics and energy storage hardware.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional hands-on experience in electrical installs or electronics builds (internship experience is applicable).

• Hands-on experience with debugging, testing, and validating electrical systems using multimeters, and similar tools.

Preferred Skills or Experience

• Familiarity with solar arrays as input power sources.

• Familiarity with lithium-ion battery handling, safety, and usage.
