Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Test Technician in Arden Hills, MN to execute electrical testing per approved protocols. The role supports engineering by performing repeatable tests, documenting results, and operating various test equipment in a lab.

Requires 1-2 years of electronic technician experience and the ability to set up fixtures and test gear such as DC/AC power supplies, power analyzers, DMMs, function generators, and electronic loads. Pay range: $30–$38 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical testing according to established test protocols, procedures, and work instructions.
• Set up test articles, fixtures, and electrical test equipment.
• Operate equipment such as DC and AC power supplies, power analyzers, DMMs, function generators and electronic loads.
• Accurately collect, record, and document test results.
• Identify and communicate test anomalies, equipment issues, or unexpected results to engineering.
• Support troubleshooting of test setups and equipment.
• Maintain organized test stations and ensure equipment is used within calibration requirements.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and applicable electrical safety requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to support project testing schedules and priorities.

Job Description

The Electrical Test Technician is responsible for executing electrical testing in accordance with approved test protocols, procedures, and work instructions. This role supports engineering teams by performing accurate and repeatable testing, documenting results, and operating a variety of electrical test equipment in a laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute electrical testing according to established test protocols, procedures, and work instructions.
• Set up test articles, fixtures, and electrical test equipment.
• Operate equipment such as:
  • DC and AC power supplies
  • Power analyzers
  • Digital multimeters (DMMs)
  • Function/signal generators
  • Electronic loads
• Accurately collect, record, and document test results.
• Identify and communicate test anomalies, equipment issues, or unexpected results to engineering.
• Support troubleshooting of test setups and equipment.
